On Saturday, August 16, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana proudly celebrated 40 years of impact, mentorship, and community support at our anniversary celebration. This milestone was not only a moment to reflect on four decades of igniting potential in youth across Acadiana—it was also an opportunity to honor the mission partners who make our work possible every single day.
Our Annual Mission Partner recognition was woven into the evening, giving us the chance to spotlight the businesses and organizations that stand shoulder-to-shoulder with us in the fight for brighter futures. These dedicated partners provide the resources, advocacy, and encouragement that allow us to match more Littles with caring Bigs and to sustain matches that last.
✨ This year, we were proud to celebrate our Annual Mission Partners:
Laborde Earles Injury Attorneys
The Pinhook Foundation
The Stuller Family Foundation
Home Bank
First Horizon
Louisiana Blue
Manuel Builders
Ochsner Lafayette General
Awardmaster
Big 102.1

🎉 The celebration was filled with joy, gratitude, and connection. Guests enjoyed music provided by On Call Band, laughter, and plenty of stories that showcased the life-changing power of mentorship. Together, we looked back on the thousands of Littles whose lives have been shaped by mentorship since 1985—and we looked ahead with excitement for what’s to come.
💚 To our Mission Partners: thank you for believing in our mission and investing in the future of Acadiana’s youth. Your partnership is more than sponsorship; it’s a commitment to empowering the next generation to dream bigger and achieve more.
As we continue to build momentum into the next 40 years, we remain deeply grateful for the community that surrounds us—Bigs, Littles, families, volunteers, staff, and mission partners. Together, we are stronger. Together, we are defenders of potential.
