Bowl For Kids’ Sake Fundraiser
LAFAYETTE
When: Saturday, March 6, 2010.
Shifts from 9am-3pm.
Each shift is an hour and 1/2.
Where: Acadiana Lanes

Why:
To benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana in providing caring adult mentors to the children of Acadiana.
How:
To participate in Bowl For Kids Sake, you can become a team captain and form a 5-person team (including yourself). Each team member raises a minimum donation of $40 ($25 for students) and is given a collection envelope prior to the event to raise donations for their entry. Team members can also create their own BFKS fundraising page to email to friends, family and colleagues by going to www.firstgiving.com/acadianabigs. From this personalized webpage, individuals can donate directly to your campaign.
Prizes:
GREAT prizes are awarded to those that bring in the most money. At
every shift, each bowler who contributes $250-$499 and $500 and above is eligible for a fantastic prize drawing. “A Night in the Village”, including a one night’s stay at the exclusive Carriage House Suites and dinner in the Village of River Ranch will be awarded to the captain who individually contributes the highest amount overall. And, a GRAND PRIZE of a Caribbean Cruise, donated by Mary Broussard Tours, will be given to the bowler who brings in the most money overall. Great door prizes will also be given out at each shift.

THEME: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana celebrates 25 years of service.
TEAMS:
5-member teams, including one team captain
Minimum $30 donation per team member ($20 minimum for students)
All bowlers receive complimentary lunch on event day AND a FREE t-shirt
(Long sleeved for our captains!)
Prizes:
Grand Prize for bowler who raises highest amount in donations overall
Prize for student who raises highest amount in donation
Every Bowler who raises $50 and above in donations will be eligible for a special prize drawing
Name on a traveling trophy for the team raising the most money overall
Name on a traveling trophy for the team with the highest bowling score
*Winners are limited to one category
*Door prizes awarded throughout the event
